Pickled Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 pound whole green beans
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 head of dill
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions:

  • Pack 1/4 of green beans into each of 4 sterilized jars.

  • Bring vinegar, salt, and water to a boil.

  • Pour liquid over beans.

  • Sprinkle top of liquid with 1/4 tsp.

  • cayenne pepper.

  • Place dill on top.

  • Seal and sterilize in warm water bath for 10 min.

  • Makes a great zesty snack or possibly stirer for martinis.
